Masala Chai

INFUSION 10 min.

Spice tea – Masala Chai, that warms the heart and soothes the stomach. The rich bouquet of spices balances the body, calms the mind, and brings a sense of happiness.

1 cup water
1-2 tablespoons black tea (or 1-2 tea bags)
1 cup almond milk or another milk alternative
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cloves
1 star anise (optional)
5 green cardamom pods

2-3 teaspoons topinambur syrup

Gently crush the cardamom pods, cloves, star anise, and place them in a small saucepan with 1 cup of water.
Add cinnamon and black tea.
Heat and then let it infuse for at least 10 minutes.
Add almond milk.
Bring to a boil again and remove from heat.
Add syrup to taste.
